Yesterday ended fadfest 2013, where they were announced the winners of the 55th edition of the FAD Architecture Awards 2013. Of all the finalists has been a winner per category, except in the mode of thought and criticism (3 winners) and Architecture (2 winners).
The jury this year, chaired by architect Dani Freixes and had as vocal Eulalia Aran, Jordi Farrando, Eva Prats, Nuno Sampaio and Maier Vélez, have based their decision on how to address the problem of reality in which is our profession today. This is because, the FAD awards , since they were extended in 1999 to the whole area of the Iberian Peninsula, let us know what the status of Spanish architectural scene.
