Arquinfad announces the XXVI Habitácola Awards, aimed at students of architecture or design, widening participation for the first time students from Latin America, with the aim of promoting reflection of new theoretical frameworks in the field of architectural design.
This 26th edition is under the motto Arruinate, claiming transformation proposals on abandoned architectures, semi-dilapidated and underused anywhere in the world and in which housing is an essential part of the argument for the purpose of generating a new meaning.

AWARDS
- TEN FINALISTS PROPOSALS: Constitute exposure Habitácola Awards in the Design Hub Barcelona, within FADFest from June to September 2014.
- Habitácola AWARD: Award winner Habitácola perform assembly and exhibition of the ten finalists in the exhibition Show Flat, housing and public space that will take place in the Centre of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB) from November 2014 to April 2015.
- EDUCATIONAL CENTER AWARD: Diploma Habitácola 2014 as the overall quality of proposals submitted and the number of entries.
ASSESSMENT
It is scored on a total of 100 points according to the following criteria:
- 40 points: Choice of location, quality of intervention / action and relevance to the proposed theme.
- 20 points: Critical Positioning with respect to the projective arguments.
- 20 points: audiovisual presentation.
- 5 points: Impact of social media until the deadline for publication of the video.
- 15 points: Impact of social media until the deadline for the social diffusion.
