Awarded 14th International Venice Biennale of Architecture 2014

The Jury of the Venice Biennale, along with the director and presediente of this, Rem Koolhaas and Paolo Baratta respectively, announced the winners in the category pavilions National Participation and Research Projects awarded.

The winners were selected according to the jury, to show the public the importance of the Biennale in the context of producing and sharing knowledge about modernity; showing as an important event for the discovery of new areas of influence in the architectural world.

GOLDEN LION - PHYLLIS LAMBERT

As pointed out by the Press Release of the Biennial, "He is recognized internationally for its continuing contribution to the advancement of contemporary architecture, and its concern for social problems of urban conservation and the role of architecture in the public realm".

Paolo Baratta, President of the Venice Biennale and Rem Koolhaas, director of the Architecture Biennale, explained his decision:
